Ministries

Along with our Sunday morning services, Gospel Fellowship has other ways for our congregation to connect with each other. Check out our various ministries below.  Have questions?  Please contact us, we would love to answer any questions you have!

  • Life Groups

GFC LIFE Groups are small groups of 4-15 people focused on

Learning to love and live like Jesus,

    Intercession and Prayer,

Fellowship and Caring for one another,

    Engaging in Service.

This is the core method of personal discipleship at GFC.  Each time a LIFE Group meets there is a time of study focused on either the sermon from the previous week or some other kind of Biblical study, a time of sharing and prayer and a time of fellowship.  Occasionally, LIFE Groups go out to serve the community in some way or for a time of recreation.  Groups like our Mid-Week Young Adults, Perplex and Sunday morning Adult Sunday School are also LIFE Groups.

To join one today contact Pastor Darrell

  • Sunday School

Sunday school is available for kids age 2 through grade 9.

Learn about Jesus through stories, crafts, games and Bible memory.

Our Sunday school meets Sunday mornings from 9:30 - 10:30, Sept. - June.

  • Perplex (Young Adults)

Perplex is a young adults life group that meets weekly, with an emphasis on growth in faith and community. This group embraces today's questions, concerns, and relevant topics that come our way. Together, we examine life from different perspectives and strive to become more spiritually and socially educated, learning how the holy and the everyday come together in a way that demonstrates God's grace to all. Studies are Bible-based and interactive. Currently, this group meets on Monday nights at 7:30.
For more information contact our young adults minister Garry Blatz at 204-326-5445
or webegb@mymts.net. See calendar for meeting location.

  • prairie quest (young adults)

This is the newest young adult group at GFC. This group is post high school, college/university, to mid-twenties. This is a group of energetic young adults with
an appetite for studying God's word... the goal being to apply it to everyday life, demonstrating Christ's grace for all. An outreach Midweek Life is involved with, is ministering at Union Gospel Mission, a north end Winnipeg soup kitchen and men's addiction recovery organization. Midweek Life meets Wednesday nights at 7:00.
For more information you can contact our young adults minister, Garry Blatz at
204-326-5445, webegb@mymts.net. See calendar for meeting location.

  • Kingdom Kids

Kingdom Kids is our weekday kid's club, Kindergarten to grade 6.  This Christ centered program is focused on leading children into a deeper faith walk through Bible teaching, Bible memorization and prayer.  Oh yeah, we also have a blast playing games and in other activities.

  • Freedom Session

Freedom Session is a healing-discipleship journey that uncovers the roots of pain in our lives and invites Jesus Christ to heal those areas of our hearts. Freedom Session deals with issues—like pornography, broken marriages, sexual woundedness and abuse, addiction—by freeing us from our “drugs of choice” - the things we use to attempt to escape the pain in our lives.  We have run Freedom Session for five of
the past seven years and is not running this year.  If you are interested contact
Pastor Darrell.  For more information on the program go to:  www.freedomsession.com
